Dalixa Santamaria is a Montreal-based architectural designer and project manager with over 25 years of experience in architecture, interior design, and construction. Since entering the industry in 1998, she has built a diverse portfolio spanning hospitality, corporate, retail, industrial, and high-end residential projects in Canada and internationally.

Dalixa holds a Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in Architectural Technology, providing a strong foundation in architectural history, design theory, interior planning, building systems, construction methods, and aesthetics. Her expertise combines technical precision with a thoughtful, client-centered approach to design.

Throughout her career, Dalixa has held roles in design production, design direction, and project management, successfully delivering projects ranging from luxury residences and office interiors to hotels and commercial developments.

She began her career at Brian Elsden Burrows Architects, where she spent more than 12 years contributing to a wide variety of prestigious projects. Her experience included upscale residential developments in Westmount and Mont-Tremblant, Quebec; corporate office interiors in Montreal and Victoria; hospitality projects in Wuxi and Dalian, China; and the Bell Canada Montreal Headquarters, one of the firm's landmark projects.

In 2010, Dalixa joined De Poitiers, collaborating with renowned French interior designer Julie Charbonneau. There, she specialized in the detailed design of custom millwork and luxurious residential interiors for an exclusive clientele. This experience further refined her appreciation for craftsmanship, attention to detail, and bespoke design solutions.

Drawing on decades of professional experience, Dalixa established her own atelier, assembling a trusted network of consultants to provide tailored architectural and interior design services. Her practice focuses on building strong client relationships through clear communication, personalized service, and a collaborative design process. Whether designing a tropical vacation home, renovating a kitchen in Montreal, planning a commercial workspace, or managing larger multidisciplinary projects, she approaches each commission with creativity, technical expertise, and a commitment to excellence.

Dalixa has also collaborated with architect George Varelas on larger-scale projects, including work for the Old Brewery Mission, recognized with an Honourable Mention by the Society to Save Montreal's Heritage.
