I cannot stress enough on the 3 basic forces that influence a project, those being Budget-Time-Quality. It is known that you could push for the best outcome of 2 of them, however the third will suffer, or might not go as you expect it. For example if you want good quality and excellent budget, then your timeline will have to be very flexible.
Keep this in mind for your next project, it will make managing your expectations much simpler to understand. :)
